What Does Go Blue for Kids Mean?  

Every April during Child Abuse Prevention Month, Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County (CACRC) initiates our Go Blue for Kids Campaign to highlight and make an extra effort to create awareness of the importance of strengthening families and preventing child abuse.   

Blue is the official color to raise awareness about child abuse and we hope that all of Rockwall County will join us in our efforts to Go Blue for Kids to show that our community cares about keeping children safe from abuse.   

How to be a Go Blue for Kids Business Supporter  

• Host an Event  

• • Examples: Spirit Day/Night, Donation Class, Fundraiser

• Have a Giveback Promotion 

• • Examples: 15% of Sales all month, 100% of proceeds of Blue Earring sales in April, $1 of every Blue Cocktail sold in April 

Benefits 

Deadline: March 5th, 2025. Commitments after March 5th may not receive all the benefits listed. 

• Help build a healthier community while increasing awareness for your business!  

• Your event or promo will be advertised in the Blue Ribbon News for April  

• You will receive a Go Blue for Kids Supporter Decal to display at your business  

• Opportunity to request a 6ft Blue Ribbon Selfie Station for your business  

• If you donate, it’s Tax Exempt!  

• We will cross promote on our social media (@RockwallCAC) & on our website 

• Your event or promo will be advertised at our March 27th Kickoff Party  

• Add an Item to our 50 Go Blue for Kids Kickoff Party Swag Bags (event on March 27th) 

• You can give your business swag items like discount cards, brochures, pens, magnets, etc.  

• Plan to drop off or have us pick up your 50 items by March 21, 2025 

• Invitation to our Business Supporter Appreciation Mixer on May 15, 2025!
