Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County has flexible and meaningful opportunities for those interested in volunteering their time and unique talents toward restoring hope to children who have been abused.

Volunteer Requirements

In order to volunteer at CACRC, all applicants must …

  • Be at least 18 years old and not enrolled in a local school district
  • Complete a volunteer application that includes confidential felony and misdemeanor arrest/conviction information, permission to allow CACRC to request Child Abuse/Neglect Central Registry, DPS Criminal History Check, sex offender registry check and a confidentiality agreement.

Step 1: Sign up for a Volunteer Orientation and Interest Meeting


Step 2: Apply to Volunteer

After you attend a Volunteer Orientation and Interest Meeting, we will e-mail you the CACRC Volunteer Application to complete.

Step 3: Volunteer Interview

This is a time for us to get to know you, your skills, and your interest.

Step 4: Complete Background Check

You will receive a Background Check form to complete at the time of the interview.

Step 5: First Day

Once accepted as a volunteer you will be scheduled to come in and review Volunteer Policies and Procedures, sign a Confidentiality Agreement, and receive task training.
